BE STRONG IN GOD'S GRACE

"Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus." (2 Timothy 2:1 KJV) Despite the superabundance of Grace that is made available unto us, some Christians still find themselves complaining and behaving as though they are helpless. Their challenge is that they seem not to be conscious of this grace and so do not take full advantage of the same.

This was a situation that the young Pastor Timothy found himself. He was confronted with some issues and desired his Father Paul to visit  him, whiles Paul himself too was even in prison and so could not do that. So after Paul reminded him in 2 Timothy 1:1-7 of the gift, ability or grace of God in him, he further admonished him in chapter 2 verse 1 to be strong in that grace which was made available in Christ Jesus for him. In other words he should take full advantage of the grace that was made available for him in Christ. Hallelujah!

And this is something that every child of God should learn to do. That is to take advantage of God's grace to deal with every challenge we might be confronted with. And this we do by being conscious of the superabundance of grace that is made available unto us and engaging the Lord through spiritual exercises like prayer, fasting, meditations, faith filled declarations, giving, etc. By these spiritual exercises we take full advantage of the grace of God in us, and by so doing we gain mastery over whatever challenge that might have confronted us and consequently see ourselves reigning in every area of our lives in Jesus name. Glory to God! Hallelujah!

 Prayer/Confession

Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your grace that is made available unto me. I declare that I refuse to complain, fear, or to be down. But I take full advantage of Your grace which super abounds for me and reign in every area of my life in Jesus name. Amen!
