FRUSTRATING THE GRACE OF GOD

DO NOT FRUSTRATE THE GRACE OF GOD

"I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain." (Galatians 2:21 KJV)

Whereas some Christians are usually not conscious of the grace of God available unto them, some also see their achievement or success to be by their own efforts or a mixture of grace and their own efforts But Apostle Paul declares that such folks who think that their salvation or achievements are by the law or their own works or a mixture of grace and their own efforts only frustrate the grace of God.

These are the folks who are usually self righteous and so if they are not able to do what they think they are to do to achieve whatever they want to achieve, just begin to doubt whether they will please God or be fruitful in their pursuit Thus, they base their success not on the grace of God, but on what they think they can do. I'm not talking about they labouring with grace, but they thinking that even though grace may be there, yet their success is still base on what they are able to do.

These folks frustrate the work of God's grace especially in moments they are not able to meet the standards they have set for themselves. Rather they should know that even the things that they are able to do is not by themselves but by the grace of God which was with them (1 Corinthians 15:10). Glory to God! Hallelujah!

 Prayer/Confession

Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your grace that has made me who I am. I declare that I do not frustrate the work of Your grace in my life but rest comfortably in the same, as You work mightily through me in Jesus name. Amen!
