I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service." (Romans 12:1 KJV)

We've seen that we are to present our bodies as living sacrifice which is Holy and acceptable unto God. And this sacrifice refers to the things that the Lord has appointed us to do with our lives for Him as our worship and service unto Him.

But in relation to the things that we do for the Lord many Christians are not conscious of the fact that they do these things for the monarch of all the universe and so they usually handle these things anyhow. But the word of God says the things that we do for the Lord as our sacrifice unto Him both in worship and service must be Holy and acceptable unto Him.

Being holy implies that it must be complete, without any spot or wrinkle, and being acceptable implies it must be according to His own standard or prescription and not merely what we think or like. So in all your dealings with God, always enquire of Him, what is it that He desires you to do and how must it be done and go ahead and do it for His glory and you will also be honored by the same in Jesus name. Hallelujah!

Prayer/Confession Heavenly Father, I thank You for the opportunity to present my body as a living sacrifice unto You. I declare that my sacrifice is holy indeed and acceptable unto You and I'm honored by the same in Jesus name. Amen!
