HONOUR THE LORD WITH YOUR  FIR

"Honor the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: 10. So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine." (Proverbs 3:9-10 KJV)
The word of God says we should honor God with our substance, and with the firstfruits of all our increase, so shall our barns be filled with plenty and our presses shall burst forth with new wine. Hallelujah! But what is the firstfruits of all our increase? It is the first benefit that we receive from anything that the Lord blesses us with.

For instance you receive a new job, your first salary is your firstfruit, you receive some promotion, the first promotional salary is your firstfruit, you start some business, the first profit is your firstfruit, and any other stream of blessing that the Lord gives you, the first part of that blessing is your firstfruit. And the word of God says whiles we are to honor the Lord with our substance, one special way of showing God such honour is by giving Him our firstfruit, which is the first part of any blessing He gives us. By giving God the firstfruit, we declare unto Him that we believe that He is the one that gave us that stream of blessing and as a way of showing our gratitude to Him for that blessing, we give Him the first part, or portion or fruit that comes out of that blessing to honor Him as the giver of that blessing and this makes the hand of God to rest mightily upon us and that which He blesses us with. Glory to God! Hallelujah!

Prayer/Declaration
Heaven Father, I thank You for the blessed opportunity to honor You with the firstfruits of all my increase. I declare that because of this honor your hand rest mightily upon me and all that You have blest me with in Jesus name. Amen!
