OUR SUFFICIENCY IS OF GOD

"Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God; 6. Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament..." (2 Corinthians 3:5-6 KJV)

In our devotional text, Paul made a very profound statement which is worth considering. He declared that it is not just that we are sufficient in ourselves to think anything as if it is coming from ourselves or our own strength, but God is our sufficiency who has actually made us into able ministers of the New Testament. Hallelujah!

By this statement he implied that the things we are able to do, we don't do them by our own ability as ministers or people of God, but by the ability of God. Glory to God! And this ability or sufficiency which is from God, working in and through us and causing us to physically achieve tremendous results is the Superabundant grace of God, which works in this dispensation of the Church or the New Testament. And it is this grace that he also emphasized in 1 Corinthians 15:10 and 1 Timothy 1:11-14, that it's the grace of God that worked in an exceeding abundant level in him, that caused him to achieve the results he achieved in ministry.

And it is this same grace which is also available unto every child of God, which actually makes God our very sufficiency, so that we are also able to achieve tremendous result in every area of our life. Glory to God! Hallelujah!

 Prayer/Confession
