Act 20:35 KJVA I have shewed you all things, how that so laboring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive." (Acts 20:35 KJV) 

In my years of ministry I've seen people give great testimonies of financial miracles that they have received referring to these miracles as the blessing of God. And because of this people's focus is usually on the receiving. But the word of God makes us to understand that the actual blessing of God is not what we receive, but what we are able to give. Glory to God. Thus, Apostle Paul declared that our Lord Jesus Christ declared that "it is more blessed to give than to receive." 

And this is because, by our giving we demonstrate the blessed character of God our Heavenly Father and also our giving becomes the foundation upon which we can receive more (Luke 6:38). In actual sense what you receive is limited to that which you have received. 

But what you give becomes the seed or foundation upon which you can receive more and more. So that our giving actually becomes our empowerment to receive more or to walk in superabundance. So from today be passionate about giving, knowing that your true blessing in not merely in what you receive, but what you give. Hallelujah! 

 Prayer/Declaration 

Heavenly Father I thank You for giving me this deeper understanding of giving. I declare that I'm a passionate giver and I walk in the full blessings of God through my giving in Jesus name. Amen!
