"For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich." (2 Corinthians 8:9 KJV)

The word of God says that for we know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich yet for our sakes He became poor that we through His poverty might be made rich. Hallelujah! So the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ made all those who have come to believe in Him rich.

Thus, if you have believed in the Lord Jesus Christ then you have already been made rich. Glory to God. Hallelujah! It is not now that the Lord is trying to make you rich and neither should you now be trying to make yourself rich, for you have already been made rich. Hallelujah!

The Word of God says by virtue of the death of our Lord Jesus Christ, which actually made Him to take the poverty of the whole world upon Himself and died as a wretched poor sinner who could not even afford a cup of water, we were made rich in Him. Glory to God!

So the question is not how you can be rich, because you are already rich but how you can walk in that riches that you have been given in Christ? And this you do by being a consistent giver. Glory to God!

Prayer/Declaration 

Heavenly Father I thank You for the death of Christ which made Him poor that I might become rich. I declare that I walk in the consciousness of my rich nature in Jesus name. Amen!
