A DINSTICTION BETWEEN GRA...
A DINSTICTION BETWEEN GRACIOUS LABOUR AND SORROWFUL LABOUR
"The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it." (Psalm 10:22 KJV)
We saw from yesterday's devotion that we labour with grace to see the full manifestation of the effects of grace in our lives. Nevertheless, this work or labour that we do is not something that we do by our own strength, but by the same grace which works in us as the power of the Holy Spirit.
Thus, this kind of labour is not a sorrowful labour that inflicts pain, but a gracious labour which stirs up joy within our hearts by the same enabling power of God.
This is why the word of God says "the blessing of the Lord makes rich and He adds no sorrow with it." (Proverbs 10:22)
Thus, the work that God causes you to do by His grace is one that has no sorrow with, and one that does not inflict pain, but a gracious work by which we align our lives with the operations of God's spirit within us and see the full results of that operation in our physical lives. Glory to God! Hallelujah!
Prayer/Confession
Heavenly Father, I thank You for the opportunity to labour with Your grace. I declare that I labour without sorrow, but by the fullness of your grace and I see the full manifestation of the work of Your grace in my life in Jesus name. Amen!
