A SPIRITUAL FATHER ACCORDING TO APOSTLE PAUL'S PERSPECTIVE

"For though ye have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel." (1 Corinthians 4:15 KJV)

Apostle Paul writing unto the Corinthian church declared that though they have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet they do not have many fathers for in Christ Jesus he has begotten them through the gospel. Hallelujah!

By this apostle Paul distinguishes spiritual instructors from spiritual fathers, and declares that many people can be spiritual instructors unto us, but not all these instructors can be spiritual fathers. Thus many people can help us in various dimensions in our spiritual growth or journey, but not all these qualify to be spiritual fathers unto us.

From this Apostle Paul went on to further state that while others may only be instructors unto the Corinthian church, He is undoubtedly their father, because he through the gospel has begotten or given birth to them. Hallelujah!

Thus, by this statement by Apostle Paul, a spiritual father is one that gives birth unto you and not merely someone that instructs you in one way or the other. And while you may have several instructors you cannot have many fathers, because many fathers cannot give birth to an individual.

Thus, your spiritual father according to Apostle Paul's perspective, is the one that gives birth unto you through the gospel. Glory to God! Hallelujah!

Heavenly Father, I thank You for the gifts of my spiritual instructors and fathers You have given me in Christ. I declare that I'm blest by the ministries of these instructors and fathers in my life in Jesus name. Amen!
