ANGELS CANNOT PREACH THE GOSPEL OF GRACE

"And they said, Cornelius the centurion, a just man, and one that feareth God, and of good report among all the nation of the Jews, was warned from God by an holy angel to send for thee into his house, and to hear words of thee." (Acts 10:22, KJV) Acts 10 gives us the account of God initiating the preaching of the gospel among the Gentiles by Peter. In this narrative God sent an angel to a devout Gentile called Cornellius whose prayers and giving had please the Lord, and instructs him to send men unto Peter who was at Joppa to come and preach to him the gospel that will lead to his salvation.

The question is, why did the Angel had to instruct Cornellius to rather send men unto Peter to come and preach unto him and his household and not the angel himself preach unto him. This is because in this dispensation of grace, Angels have no right to preach the gospel, because of the glory that God has vested into the gospel, which is Himself manifest in the flesh.

It is only the church that has the right to preach this gospel of grace, because it is the church that God by His grace has permitted to partake of His glory and also manifest Him unto all creations including the principalities and powers and all Angels as well (Ephesians 3:10). And this is another reason  why every member of the church must take the preaching of the gospel serious. For by it we participate in the very Glory of God

Prayer/Confession

Heavenly Father I thank You for this insight You've given me concerning the preaching of the gospel, which is my participation in your Glory. I  declare that as I preach the gospel I walk in greater dimensions of your glory in Jesus name. Amen!
