BE STRENGTHENED THROUGH DISC..

BE STRENGTHENED THROUGH DISCIPLINE

"Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees" (Hebrews 12:12 KJV)

Several years ago, the man of God Pastor Chris gave a scenario of three categories of responses to challenges or discipline. He describe people's attitude to discipline with egg, carrot, and coffee when subjected to hot water. He said that when egg is subjected to hot water it hardens, when carrot is subject to hot water, it becomes soft, but when coffee is subjected to hot water, it dominates the water.

And based on theses scenarios, he declared that the Christian's attitude to challenges or discipline should not be like the egg which just hardens and become adamant because it was subjected hot water, neither should it be soft or weak like carrot subjected to hot water, but it should rather exercise dominion through strength in the midst of that challenge like what coffee does with the the hot water.

And this is what the author of Hebrews says, that instead of allowing our hands and feet to be weak in the face of challenges or discipline, we should rather allow our hands and our feet to be lifted up as a sign of strength. Hallelujah!

So never allow your hands to hang down in weakness, and do not entertain any feeble knees in the midst of challenges, adversity or discipline. But always ensure that your hands are lifted up in strength and your knees are strengthened in the midst of the challenges that you face and you will always have the mastery or dominion over the challenge like the coffee in the hot water. Glory to God! Hallelujah!

Prayer/Declaration
Heavenly Father, I thank You for the wisdom You have given me of strengthening myself through challenges. I declare that my hands are lifted up and my feet are strengthened in the midst of all my challenging situations in Jesus name. Amen!
