BUILD CAPACITY THROUGH ENDU...

BUILD CAPACITY THROUGH ENDURANCE

"And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power." (Ephesians 1:19 KJV)

From our devotional text, we see that the power of God works in and through us according to the working of God's mighty (ischus) power (Kratos) in us.

Thus, the actual power of God that we command is based on the ischus, stamina, inner capacity, endurance or inner strength that we develop or build. This is what qualifies or describes the kratos or dominion that we actually walk in.

But ischus is built in us by the things that we endure or the challenges that we face. These challenges are what thickens and strengthen our spiritual muscles.

And this is why God allows us to go through challenges. Until a child of God goes through challenging situation His inner capacity will never be built, and if that inner capacity is not built, that child of God cannot demonstrate kratos or dominion. Thus, he will not be able to rule over things are he should.

But most children of God, rather always wants the easy life, void of challenges. And this is why they complain when faced with challenges. But that is not the way of God. The original design of God's building process is for us to endure toughness or hardness as good soldiers of the Lord (2 Timothy 2:3), and this will build the necessary ischus or strength required for us to overcome and have dominion (kratos) over all things to the Glory of God in Jesus name. Amen!
