CHRIST IS THE STANDARD

"Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ." (Ephesians 4:13 KJV)

After the word of God declared that the focus of our building process as a church and individuals is Christ, the word further noted that there is a level or a standard that we are to grow into. And that level or standard is the stature of the fulness of Christ. Hallelujah!

Thus, the word of God declares that the ministry offices are to continue building us for us to come to the unity of the faith, unto the knowledge of the Son of God, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ.

Stature is from the Greek word "helikia", which means maturity in terms of age or size. Thus, the word of God says our maturity must be the fulness of Christ. And this fulness of Christ talks of his full wisdom and strength, so that we are able to do what he was able to do on this earth and even more.

And our Lord Jesus Christ knew that this was possible and that is why He said they that believe in Him will do greater works than what He did (John 14:12) and for which also, He also declared unto us that we should occupy till He comes (Luke 19:12-13). Glory to God!

Now, note that this was not declared only concerning those called into the various ministry offices, but concerning all Christians. Every Christian must grow unto the stature or maturity of the fulness of Christ. Hallelujah!

And this is the work that the various ministry offices of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers are to help every member of the body of Christ to attain to in Jesus name. Amen!

Prayer/Declaration
Heavenly Father, I thank You for the knowledge that You have given me of the standard of my growth process in Christ. I declare that I grow into the stature of the fulness of Christ in Jesus name. Amen!
