DIFFERENCE BETWEEN VISIONS AND DREAMS

"And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:" (Joel 2:28 KJV)

We saw yesterday that one of the ways that the Holy Spirit leads us is through visions and dreams.

These two experiences though very close to each other, as they both involve the power of sight are still different from each other.

The difference between the two is based on the state of the recipient. Dreams are received when the recipient is asleep, whiles visions are received whiles the recipient is awake or in a state of trans. Hallelujah!

So dreams are received during sleep and visions whiles one is awake. And this is why the word of God says that our old men shall dream dreams and our young men and women shall see visions. Glory to God! Hallelujah!

Thus, whiles old men will dream because they are to be resting, young men and women will be receiving visions whiles actively working. So as a young man or woman be conscious of the Spirit always and yield to him even in your daily activities and you will see visions of the Holy Ghost in Jesus name. Amen!

Prayer/Declaration
Heavenly Father, I thank You for the opportunity to dream dreams and see visions. I declare that my Spirit is active always and I see every vision and dream that the Holy Spirit brings to me in Jesus name. Amen!
