Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth." (Ephesians 4:28 KJV) Let's consider Ephesians 4:28 again. Note that the word of God did not just say that the thief should no more steal, but that he should work with his hands. The word further added that, he should do something good. Thus, you are not just supposed to be working, but God wants you to do something good and not something bad

Some people consider the something good or good work to be the one that gives them more money or more comfort. But by something good, the word of God implies any work that is approved by God, and this will definitely also be in line with God's divine counsel for your life, which will be a blessing unto humanity and actually bring glory to God. Hallelujah!

So the questions that we are to be asking ourselves is that, the work that I'm doing does God approve of it? Is it in line with God's counsel for my life? Is it a blessing unto humanity and the world? And does it glorify God? Once you answer yes to these question just go ahead and do that particular work, knowing that you are already enabled by God's grace to do it and it will bring Glory to God the Father in Jesus name. Amen!

Prayer/Declaration

Heavenly Father,  I thank You for giving me understanding into the good work that You have called me to do. I declare that I'm enabled by your grace to work with my hands and do something good to Glory of Your Holy name, in Jesus name. Amen!
