"But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judæa, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth." (Acts 1:8 KJV)

Another Greek word translated into the strength or power of God in the believer is "dunamis."

Dunamis is what our Lord Jesus Christ declared unto the disciples in Acts 1:8 that they would receive when the Holy Spirit comes upon them

Dunamis refers to miraculous power inherent in a believer. In other words this dunamis is the ability of God in a believer that makes him to do miraculous works. It is defined by many as the dynamic ability to cause changes. Hallelujah

Thus this dunamis in us, is God's own special ability that causes us to perform miracles or effect any kind of change that we desire to do in any area of our lives.

And ones again the level at which this power operates in us is dependent on the level to which we yield to the Holy Spirit who is actually this power in us and who also operates this power through us to the Glory of God in Jesus name. Amen!

Prayer/Declaration
Heavenly Father, I thank you for the power of the Holy Ghost that operates in me. I declare that I effect tremendous changes in my life on account of this power in Jesus name. Amen!
