"Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God." (Hebrews 12:2 KJV)

The word of God says we should look unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross. Hallelujah!

The word of God saying we should look unto Jesus implies that we should set our focus on him, put our faith in Him, and learn from Him. Thus, we should see Jesus as our example of successfully running the race that has been set for us. Hallelujah!

And specifically what did our Lord Jesus Christ do? The word of God says He endured the cross, which was the main destiny He was to fulfill on this earth, for which He declared after such endurance that "it is finished" (John 19:30). And it was this endurance that brought Him His glorification ( Philippians 2:8-11). Hallelujah!

In like manner everyone of us have our own unique cross that we must endure based on the respective destinies that God has appointed for us. And it is our endurance of our own unique cross that will also bring about our own future glorification, even as we have already been glorified in Christ Jesus our Lord.

So what is your own cross? What are the unique things that God wants you to endure in your walk with Him? Receive grace for such endurance and You will see the glory of God fully manifest in your life in Jesus name. Amen!

Prayer/Declaration
Heavenly Father, I thank You for the strength You have given me to endure every cross you have appointed for me. I declare that I'm filled with all grace for all of such endurance and You are highly glorified in my life in Jesus name. Amen!
