"And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power." (Ephesians 1:19 KJV) "

About five Greek words have been translated into power, and the uniqueness of each of these words and their combined operations in and through us show us how the Holy Spirit operates as our strengthener or strength.

The first one is 'energia,' translated into 'working' in our devotional text for today. Energia means operating power, working power, or energy and it refers to the general ability of God in us which sustains us and enables us to go about our normal spiritual activities, which also manifest and strength in our physical lives.

In the natural it's just like somebody having the ability to go about his normal activities without any restraint like sickness, weakness, or any other thing that can prevent him from doing his or her normal life activities.

So energia is the foundational strength of God in the life of every believer by which we are able to do our normal spiritual activities. Thus it is energia that gives us soundness of spiritual health upon which other forms of spiritual capacities can be built and this strength can grow mightily even as Apostle Paul declared that the energia or working of God operates in us who believe as His mighty power.

And the extends to which you yield to the operations of God determines how this energia of God operates in you to the Glory of God. Hallelujah!

Heavenly Father, I thank You for your working power that works in me. I declare that Your power is indeed working mightily in me in Jesus name. Amen!
