IF THE SPIRIT OF GOD DWELLS ..

IF THE SPIRIT OF GOD DWELLS IN YOU

But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you." (Romans 8:11 KJV)

In Romans 8:10 when Apostle Paul declared that if Christ is in us, the body is dead because of sin, but the spirit is life because of righteousness, he immediately added in the subsequent verse that: but if the Spirit of him who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in us, He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken our mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwells in us. Hallelujah!

The word of God makes us to understand that our Lord Jesus Christ was raised up from the dead by God the Father (Romans 6:4). And the Spirit of God the Father is the Holy Spirit. This implies that the Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead is the Holy Spirit of God, which is referred to as the Glory of the Father in Romans 6:4

Thus, the word of God says, if the Holy Spirit dwells in us, God the Father will quicken our bodies by His Holy Spirit who dwells in us. Glory to God! Hallelujah! This reveals the fundamental work that the Holy Spirit does in us in relation to our bodies. The word of God says He quicken or makes alive our bodies by imparting the life of God which is in our spirits unto our bodies.

And it is by this empowering work of the Holy Spirit from our spirit in our bodies that enables our bodies to yield to our spirit and consequently cause our spirit to live out or demonstrate the very life and righteousness of God from our spirits through our bodies as good works wrought in us by the power of the Holy Spirit. Glory to God! Hallelujah!

Prayer/Declaration

Heavenly Father, I thank You for the continuous operation of Your Holy Spirit in the inside of me. I declare that my body is quickened by the Holy Spirit of God and I consequently live out the life and righteousness of God in my body in Jesus name. Amen!
