"The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, 19. And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power." (Ephesians 1:18-19 KJV)

The fifth Greek word translated into power in the New Testament is "Kratos." This is the Greek word that Apostle Paul used to describe the peak of the power of the Holy Spirit in the believer as used in our devotional text.

"Kratos" means might or dominion. And it refers to that power that has already overcome and therefore has dominion over all things.

This is what operated in the lives of all the people that the Lord referred to as mighty men or women in the Old Testament.

Now you come to the New Testament and the word of God says we are overcomers because of the life and nature of God in us (1 John 5:4-5) and this also makes us more than conquerors (Romans 8:37).

This ability of God in us which makes us overcomers and more than conquerors is this kratos, might or dominion that the Holy Spirit operates in and through us, which is actually the power that has already overcome all things

So the Holy Spirit operates His energia in us to enable us go about our normal spiritual activities, ischus as stamina to endure any challenge, exousia as our authority in Christ, dunamis as miraculous power and kratos as our dominion over all things, so that we are overcomers and more than conquerors in Christ Jesus our Lord. Amen!

Prayer/Declaration
Heavenly Father, I thank You for the kratos You have given me, which is the spirit of dominion in me. I declare that I have dominion over all things and in every area of my life in Jesus name. And I'm therefore an overcomer and more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus my Lord and King. Glory to God! Hallelujah!
