‎"Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord."(1 Corinthians 15:58 KJV)

In previous days we've seen how our Lord Jesus Christ was exalted to the throne or authority of God by enduring the cross and running the race that was appointed for Him as a man on this earth.

We've also seen in like manner that we are also to endure every cross which has been appointed for us as well as every race that has been set before us.

All these talk about the various responsibilities and sacrificial works that the Lord has appointed for us in His kingdom as part of the destiny that we are to fulfil in Christ Jesus our Lord, through His Church.

And from our devotional text Apostle Paul encourages us that we should always abound or do well in these responsibilities and sacrificial works which the Lord has appointed for us, knowing that our labour in the Lord will never be in vain. Hallelujah!

‎So in what capacity have you been called to labour for the Lord? What is the cross that has been appointed for you to bear? What shame have you been called to despise? And what race has been appointed for you as your destiny on this earth by God?

‎Be steadfast, unmovable and continue to do well in all these responsibilities and sacrificial works that the Lord has appointed for you on this earth and you will never lose your glorious Heavenly reward in Jesus name. Amen!

Prayer/Declaration

‎Heavenly Father, I thank You for every work You have appointed for me to do through Your church, to advance Your Kingdom on this earth. I declare that I am steadfast, unmovable, and always abounding in the work of the Lord and I know that my labour in the Lord will never be in vain in Jesus name. Amen!
