LEADERSHIP BY EXAMPLE

"Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity." (1 Timothy 4:12 KJV)

We've seen that Apostle Paul counselled his son Timothy not to allow himself to be despised but he should be an example unto "the believers in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity."

Now note that Timothy was the Pastor of the Ephesians church, and Paul's first letter to him was his instruction unto him concerning the effective way that Timothy could lead the Church as their Pastor.

And from this Apostle Paul told him that one of the things he should do in order for his followers not to despise him but to respect his authority as a leader is by being example to them in every aspect of the ministry: in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, and in purity.

And in like manner in any capacity that we lead, whether in church or even our secular engagements, we are to lead by example. That is doing the very things that we expect our followers to do, so that they can observe us and do likewise. Hallelujah!

Prayer/Declaration
Heavenly Father, I thank You for the insight You've given me today. I declare that I lead by example and I'm effective in all my leadership responsibilities in Jesus name. Amen!
