LET YOUR GIFTS BENEFIT THE CHURCH

"But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal." (1 Corinthians 12:7 KJV)

The word of God says, but the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. And we saw yesterday that these manifestations of the Spirit are the operations of the gifts of the Holy Spirit in us. And that they have been given to us for our profit or advantage.

Now let's take a particular notice at that scripture again. It says the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit 'withal.' Thus our gifts are not just for our personal profit alone, but for the profit of all, which refers to the entire body of Christ or the Church. So our gifts are for the common profit of the whole Church. In actual sense God gave that gift to be beneficial unto the Church or the body of Christ, but because God works through man, He gave you that gift, so that you can operate the gift for the common good of the whole church. Hallelujah!

But the question is: are your gifts benefiting the church, or yourself alone? And have you even started putting that gift of God in you to work or they are lying in you idle.

Know that the purpose of the gifts of God in you is for the common profit of the church and you owe that responsibility to the church, and of course God at large, and at the end of your life on this earth you will give accounts to the same God.

So from today make up your mind to put your gifts to work, so that it becomes beneficial unto yourself and the whole body of Christ in Jesus name. Glory to God! Hallelujah!

Prayer/Declaration
Heavenly Father, I thank You for the gifts of the Holy Spirit in me. I declare that I put these gifts to work for the common profit of the Body of Christ and I'm blessed for doing so in Jesus name. Amen!
