LOOK UNTO JESUS
"Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God." (Hebrews 12:2 KJV)
After the author of the book of Hebrews declared that because we are surrounded with a great cloud of witnesses, we should lay aside every weight and sin that easily beset us and run with patience the race that is set before us, he further added that we should look unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith.
Thus, the best way of dealing with any weight or sin that easily beset or trouble us, or even any life's issue is to look unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. Hallelujah!
You don't deal with any issue of this life by focusing on the issue but on the Lord Jesus Christ. The more you focus on the issue, the more it seems bigger unto you and the more difficult or challenging dealing with it becomes. But the more you focus or look unto Jesus, the more the issue becomes smaller unto you as Jesus is magnified in your life, and dealing with that issue becomes less challenging or difficult, so that you are able to effectively deal with them.
So from today, take your eyes from every other thing and set your gaze on Jesus Christ the author and the finisher of your faith and see him grant you victory over every seemingly weight or issue of this life to the glory of God the Father. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!
