"That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive." (Eph 4:14 KJV)

The word of God says the ministry offices of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers are to build us up to the level of maturity, where we are no more children tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine. Hallelujah!

Thus, one main reason why God gave us these ministry offices or our man of God is to help us grow from childhood unto maturity.

And this is very vital because as an heir of God as long as you remain a child, the word of God say you do not differ from a servant (Galatians 4:1-3). Thus, until you grow from childhood to maturity you cannot enjoy the inheritance that God your Heavenly Father has appointed for you. And this is simply because you lack the capacity as a child to handle and make effective use of those blessings embedded in your inheritance.

It's just like your father has a fleet of luxurious cars, no matter how much he loves you as a child, until you grow from childhood to the level where you can drive any of the cars without killing yourself in an accident, your father will never give you any of the cars to personally drive even though he loves you. At best he will allow one of the servants to drive you around, but he will never allow you to have the luxury of driving it yourself.

In the same vein, until we grow to maturity there are certain levels of blessings that we cannot enjoy. But because our Heavenly Father is so good and actually wants us to enjoy all the blessings He has appointed for us as our inheritance, He has given us these ministry offices or our man of God to build us from childhood unto maturity, so that we can fully enjoy all these blessings to the full.

This shows the value of these ministry offices in our lives and hence why Apostle Paul said that they are gifts unto us (Ephesians 4:8). Glory to God! Hallelujah!

Prayer/Declaration
Heavenly Father, I thank You for the opportunity to be built from childhood unto maturity through the ministry of my man of God. I declare that as I yield to this ministry I grow indeed and fully enjoy every inheritance You have appointed for me in Jesus name. Amen!
