"I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service." (Romans 12:1 KJV) Apostle Paul writing unto the Roman Church declared unto them and every member of the body of Christ that we should present our bodies as living sacrifice, which is holy and acceptable unto God. And he further added that this is our reasonable or conscious act of service. Glory to God!

Note that he didn't say dead sacrifice, but a living sacrifice. Thus, his focus is not mere killing yourself as the Old Testament burnt sacrifice, but letting your whole being to be ablaze for God in His holy and acceptable service. And this is that ministry that God has appointed for you to fulfil on this earth. Thus, the word of God through the Apostle is teaching us not to be idling around but to reasonably or consciously serve God as a sacrificial work and not merely to operate from our comfort zone. And this is because he has giving us his ability as our ministerial grace which cannot be wasted but must yield results through our abundant labour to the Glory of God in Jesus name. Amen!

Prayer/Declaration Heavenly Father I thank You for reminding me through Your word to present my body as a living sacrifice for Your Service. I declare that I present my body indeed as Your living sacrifice, which is holy, acceptable unto You by Your grace that works mightily in me and yield tremendous results in my ministry in Jesus name. Amen
