"Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest." (John 4:35 KJV)

We saw from Jesus's discourse with His disciples in John 4:34-35, that now is the time of the harvest of souls into the kingdom of God. But like the disciples of Christ, most christians don’t really get themselves involved in the harvest. And one of the things which usually prevent people from engaging in this harvest of souls is procrastination. That is proponing or deferring the work to some future time


Actually there are many reasons why people sometimes procrastinate or defer from the harvest of souls.

Usually people think that they should necessarily finish dealing with some matters of their lives before they win souls. Some say ok let me finish school first so that I can have more time to win souls. Some say let me marry first before I can be able to win souls. Some say let me get a new and a better job first so that I can be financially empowered before I can win souls. Some even think that they need more spirituality before they can win souls.
But what these folks have not realized is that the more they advance in life, the more it becomes challenging for them to win souls

Thus, it will be less challenging for you to fulfill your ministry now in your current state and situation than tomorrow.

Also most of these folks who procrastinate concerning their ministries or soul winning do so because they are more conscious of their limitations more than God's ability that operates through them. And this is why they think they cannot fulfill that ministry whiles still excelling in their current situation or state.

And this is why our Lord Jesus Christ says, dont say there are yet four months and then come harvest. Don't say I still need more time and some better conditions before I can win souls. If you cannot win souls in your current situation, you may never be able to win souls at all. Because the focus is not just your own strength, but God's enabling ability that works mightily in you as Apostle Paul declared in Colossians 1:29.

So arise and hit the field that the Lord has appointed for you and engage the harvest of the souls that He has appointed for you to win in Jesus name. Amen!

Prayer/Declaration
Heavenly Father, I thank You for the wisdom You've given me concerning procrastination in my soul winning endeavours. I declare that I refuse to procrastinate, and I arise and engage in the harvest of the souls that You have appointed for me in Jesus name. Amen!
