NOT FOR SOMETIME BUT FOREVER

"And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever" (John 14:16 KJV)

In the Old Testament the Holy Spirit could not live in the people because of their sinful nature. He only came upon them and used them to fulfil His work and after that he left.

But in our Lord Jesus Christ's discuss with the disciples concerning the Holy Spirit, he declared unto them that when the Holy Spirit who is another comforter of His kind comes, He will abide with them forever. Hallelujah!

Thus, unlike the Old Testament, the Holy Ghost did not come to abide with us for some time but forever. You don't receive Him for Him to use you temporarily for the work of God, but He comes to become one with you and also to abide forever with you. Glory to God! Hallelujah!

There are people who sometimes think that for one reason or the other the Holy Spirit has left them, but that is merely the deception of the devil. In such moments all that you are supposed to do is to shut your senses against every suggestions of the enemy and spend some moments of intimacy through prayer and meditation with Him and there and then you will sense His awesome presence all over you. Glory to God! Hallelujah!

Prayer/Declaration
Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your Holy Spirit whom You have given me to abide with me forever. I declare that I have constant communion with the Holy Spirit and I'm constantly filled with His presence in Jesus name. Amen!
