"For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith." (1 John 5:4 KJV)

The word of God says whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world and the victory that overcomes the world is our faith.

The one born of God is the one that believes that Jesus is the Son of God and has consequently put his faith in Him.

Because this man that has put his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ is born of God, he has the very life and nature of God in him. And the word of God says he actually overcomes the world. Hallelujah!

The reason why the one born of God overcomes the world is simply because Jesus overcame all things for him and his own overcoming is simply a demonstration of the victory that Jesus won for him.

And this is why the actual thing that makes him to overcome is actually his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, which is his faith in what the Lord Jesus accomplished for him through his death and glorious resurrection. Glory to God! Hallelujah!

Prayer/Declaration
Heavenly Father, I thank You for your life and nature in me as Your child. I declare that I have overcome the world and all things because I am born of You in Jesus name. Amen!
