PERFECTED FOR THE WORK OF THE MINISTRY

"And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12. For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ." (Ephesians 4:11 KJV)

The word of God says, the ministry offices of Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers are for the perfecting of the saints for the work of the ministry. Hallelujah!

Now yesterday we saw that the Greek word translated into perfecting, katatismus means to completely furnish, which further means to dress up for beauty or glory and also for military action.

Thus, whiles the ministry of our man of God beautifies us as the glory of God, the word further says, this beautification is actually for the purpose of the work of the ministry, which will further edify the whole body of Christ.

And it is this work of the ministry that we are equipped or dressed as soldiers to fulfil. This is why whiles katatismus or perfection involves our dressing up for beauty, it also implies our dressing up as soldiers who fulfill God's mission, which is the work of the ministry. Glory to God! Hallelujah!

Prayer/Declaration
Heavenly Father, I thank You for the gift of my man of God. I declare that I'm equipped for the work of the ministry as I yield to the ministry of my man of God in Jesus name. Amen!
