"Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine." (2 Timothy 4:2 KJV)

The word of God says, we should preach the word, we should be instant at it both in season and out of season. We should reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine. Hallelujah!

Being instant in season and out of season implies that we should be ready at all times to preach. Thus, irrespective of where you find yourself, the people that you are with, the circumstance or situation in which you find yourself, you are to preach the gospel. Hallelujah!

And this is very important because most Christians think that they are to preach only if its convenient for them. Some even think that while they are working in their various secular fields, the pastors who are in some full time ministry should be preaching. Some also think that, they can merely support the preaching with their money while others preach.

But while its good, important and very necessary to support the preaching of the gospel with your money, ensure that at least the people that you relate with, being your family, friends, colleagues and as many as you come across, you take advantage of your engagement with them to preach the gospel with them. Hallelujah!

And as we saw in previous devotions, this preaching of the gospel is our divine mandate and we are all to rise and fulfill it to the glory of God in Jesus name. Amen!

Prayer/Declaration
Heavenly Father, I thank You for reminding me of my divine mandate of preaching the gospel. I declare that I preach the word and I'm instant at it, both in season and out of season. And many are coming to the saving knowledge of Christ through my preaching in Jesus name. Amen!
