SAVING GRACE WORKS BY THE PREACHING OF THE GOSPEL

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:" (Ephesians 2:8, KJV) We've seen from Ephesians 2:8 that we are saved by grace through faith. Thus, the means by which we enjoy saying grace is through faith. But how does a person also receive faith, the Word of God declares that "faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God"  (Romans 10:17)

Thus, whiles we access grace by faith, we receive faith by the word of God. Thus, saving grace works by the preaching of the gospel. Thus, until the word of God or the gospel of Jesus Christ, who is the substance of grace is preached unto a person, that person cannot have faith to access the grace, that will bring him his salvation.

This is why Apostle Paul in emphasizing the preaching of the gospel for salvation declared that "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. 14. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? 15. And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things." (Romans 10:13-15)

So it takes the preaching of gospel for people to have faith in Christ Jesus,so that they can call on Him for their salvation. Glory to God!

Prayer/Confession 

Heavenly Father I thank you for the opportunity to preach the gospel to others for their salvation. I declare that I'm empowered by Your Spirit to preach everywhere you lead me in Jesus name. Amen!
