SNATCH MEN FROM FIRE

"And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh." (Jude 23 KJV)

We've understood that the church is the army of God and that every Christian is a soldier for the Lord. And as soldiers we are to contend for the salvation of men through our prayers and preaching.

In our devotional text, Jude emphasizes the seriousness of this work by indicating that we are to pull men from fire. Thus in our prayers for the salvation of the lost and our preaching unto them, we are to understand that what we do is actually snatching or pulling people from fire.

So if someone's life is endangered with fire and you have the opportunity and ability to save or deliver that person from that fire, what seriousness will you attach in doing that?

This is the kind of understanding that we should have as soldiers of the Lord in our soul winning work. We are simply snatching or pulling people from the fires of hell and bringing them into the glorious liberty in the Kingdom of God's dear Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. Glory to God! Hallelujah!

Prayer/Declaration
Heavenly Father, I thank You for the mission You have given me of snatching people from the fires of hell. I declare that I'm filled with all grace to do this and I'm effective in the same in Jesus name. Amen!
