"As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth." (Psalm 127:4 KJV)

We've learnt that sons are an heritage from the Lord and a reward from Him to their fathers. The word of God further says that they are as arrows in the hand of a mighty man. Hallelujah!

Thus, sons are also weapons of warfare in the hand of their father who is described in the word of God as a mighty man.

Do you know that apart from the physical strength of a mighty man, another thing that defines his might or strength is the kind of weapon that he uses. A man may be very strong, but without his weapon and his ability to use that weapon effectively, he may be weak to some extent.

Thus, sons operating as arrows or weapons of warfare in the hand of their father shows the complimentary work and the role that they fulfill in the life and destiny of their father.

Just as arrows go ahead of a mighty man to do battle for him even before his physical presence, so do sons go ahead of their father to do battle ahead of him to the glory of God. Hallelujah!

Prayer/Declaration
Heavenly Father, I thank You for the understanding that You have given me of sons operating as arrows in the hand of their father. I declare that as a son I am an arrow in the hand of my father indeed and I go ahead to do battle on his behalf and I'm highly fulfilled in every area of my life for doing so in Jesus name. Amen!
