"As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. 5. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate." (Psalm 127:4-5 KJV)

We've recently learnt that sons are arrows in the hand of their father, and that they are to also defend the father's name. Hallelujah!

But apart from these, sons are to also actually fight to defend their family. Remember that while children are heirs who have not grown and so cannot take responsibilities, sons are heirs who have grown to maturity and so can stand with the father to engage in warfare with him.

But sometimes even fathers are to rest while their sons engage in warfare defending the family on behalf of the father.

This is why the word of God says that sons will speak or challenge the enemy in the gate. Hallelujah!

So sons will not merely sit or stand idle for the enemy to break through the family gate to hurt other members of the family. Rather they will face the enemy at the gate and fight to their last breath, to ensure that the enemy does not break through the gate to enter into the family.

Thus, apart from defending the name of their father, sons actually engage in warfare for the entire family on behalf of their father to ensure that their family is protected and preserved to the glory of God in Jesus name. Amen!

Prayer/Declaration
Heavenly Father, I thank You for reminding me of my role as a son in defending my family. I declare that indeed I engage in spiritual warfare on behalf of my father to defend our family and I'm blessed for doing so in Jesus name. Amen!
