"For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God." (Romans 8:14 KJV) The word of God says, as many as are led by the Spirit of God they are the sons of God. Hallelujah!

Whereas in our normal English usage, a son refers to a male child, in the Greek, the language  from which a greater part of the New Testament was written, it means something different.

Son is translated from the Greek word 'huios' which actually refers to heirs who have come of age so that they can fully take over their father's estate or inheritance. So whereas in the normal English usage, a son is simply a male child irrespective of his maturity level, in Biblical Greek, it refers to children or heirs who have come to maturity through various trainings that the Lord has taken them through. And because of this they are able to handle the things of God as God requires of them.

This is why, Apostle Paul declared by the Spirit that as many as a led by the Spirit of God, they are the Sons of God.

Thus, because these sons have come of age, they are able to yield to the leadership of the Holy Ghost. In other words they have the ability or capacity to do the things that the Holy Ghost wants them to do. This is what distinguishes sons from children in the kingdom of God. Glory to God! Hallelujah!

Prayer/Declaration

Heavenly Father, I thank You for making me a Son in Your Kingdom. I declare that as a Son I fully yield to the leadership of the Holy Spirit in every area of my life in Jesus name. Amen!
