"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." (2 Timothy 1:7 KJV)

Fear is one of the major weapons of the enemy which he uses against God's people. By fear the devil is able to make the children of God to deprive themselves of blessings that God has already given them.

Sometimes because of fear, some children of God do not take some actions that they should take in order to have some form of advantage in their life.

For instance God may give a business idea to somebody and because of the fear of failure the person will just decide not to pursue that idea and he or she remains at the level of finance that God wanted him to progress from. Even one of the hinderances to people manifesting various giftings and abilities of God in them is fear.

But the word of God makes us to understand from our devotional text that God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, of love and of a sound mind.  Hallelujah!

So anytime that you begin to fear, know that that feeling is not from God but the devil and at that moment just begin to pray intensively in the Spirit and see your whole being overwhelmed with the power of God. And this will give you the boldness to do that which you are supposed to do to the Glory of God in Jesus name. Amen!

Prayer/Declaration
Heavenly Father, I thank You for You have not given me the spirit of fear, but of power, of love and of a sound mind. I therefore declare that I have no fear of anything but operate with boldness in every area of my life by the power of the Holy Ghost in Jesus name. Amen!
