SUCH AS IS COMMON TO MAN

"There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it." (1 Corinthians 10:13 KJV)

We saw yesterday that any temptation or challenge that the Lord brings unto us is something that He has already empowered us to be able to handle. Thus, there is no temptation or challenge that the Lord will allow you to go through that is beyond your ability.

One other thing that we need to know about the temptations or challenges that we face is that they are not common to angels but man. Most times people are tempted to think that the challenges that they face are so strange and no man has ever gone through some before. But that is merely the deception of the devil to weaken their faith in God and their confidence in facing that challenge with the ability of God in them.

If you are ever faced with any seemingly insurmountable challenge, that it's as though no body has ever faced and gone through some before, you will know if you begin to seek godly counsel that people have gone through and endured even far worse situation than your own. But the reason why you think it's a big thing is because you have not had the opportunity of meeting people who faced similar conditions and came our victoriously reigning over the same.

This is why it pays to seek godly advice and also spend time with the written word. For they will point to you people who also faced what you are facing and how God saw then through. And this will strengthen your faith in God and give you more boldness in facing the challenge and overcoming the same in Jesus name. Glory to God! Hallelujah!

Prayer/Declaration
Heavenly Father I thank You for the insight You have given me into the challenges that I face, which are merely such as are common to man. I refuse to magnify these challenges and declare that Jesus Christ my Lord is rather magnified in my life to the Glory of God. Hallelujah!
