THE BLESSEDNESS OF TRUSTING GOD

"Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him." (Psalm 2:12 KJV)

The past two days we've been looking at the necessity and importance of puting our trust in God and not in ourselves.

We've seen that whiles trusting in ourselves is tantamount to death, trusting in God on the other hand produces life forever more.

Today's devotion further strengthens that thought by stating expressly that "Blessed are all they that put their trust in him (God). Hallelujah!

The striking thing about this scripture to me is the "all." The fact that all those who put their trust in God or our Lord Jesus Christ are blessed. Hallelujah!

This is one sure reason why every child of God and of course every human being must put their trust in Him. Not just some few people are blessed for putting their trust in God. But everyone that can only dare to put his trust in Him is blessed. Hallelujah!

And to be blessed means to be empowered to prosper or do well. Thus, once you put your trust in God you begin to prosper and the more you put your trust in Him, the more you keep on prospering to the glory of God in Jesus name. Amen!

Prayer/Declaration
Heavenly Father, I thank You for the opportunity to trust You and not in my own self. I declare that I'm blessed for consistently putting my trust in You in Jesus name. Amen!
