THE GOOD SOLDIER VERSUS THE BAD SOLDIER

"Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ (2 Tim 2:3)" 

We've seen that the Church is the army of God, and every member of the church is a soldier for the Lord. And that good soldiers endure hardness for the Lord.

Now once the word of God speaks of good soldiers of the Lord, then there are also bad soldiers of the Lord.

Understand that it is not just some christians who are soldiers of the Lord but every Christian is a soldier for the Lord. And the word of God says some are good soldiers and some are bad soldiers and one of the characteristics of a good soldier is that he endures hardness for the Lord.

So the question is are you a good soldier for the Lord or you are a bad soldier for the Lord? Do you endure hardness for the Lord or you complain and give up at the face of challenges.

Good soldiers of the Lord endure hardness for the Lord. And it is this virtue of theirs that make them please God. So be conscious of the fact that you are a soldier for the Lord and endure hardness as a good one to the Glory of God the Father in Jesus name. Amen!

Prayer/Declaration
Heavenly Father, I thank you for enlisting me into Your army. I declare that I'm a good soldier of the Lord and as such I endure hardness for the Lord in Jesus name. Amen!
