THE HOLY SPIRIT AS THE SEAL...

THE HOLY SPIRIT AS THE SEAL OF THE CHILD OF GOD

"In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise" (Ephesians 1:13 KJV)

The word of God says that when we heard the word of truth, which is the gospel of our salvation and believed  in the same, we were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise.

To seal  from it's Greek word 'sphragizo' means to stamp something with a signet or private mark for security or preservation. The seal itself being an authoritative stamp or a stamp of authentication that distinguishes the thing sealed.

And the word of God says, the day we believed the gospel and got born again, we were sealed by the Holy Ghost. Hallelujah!

Thus, as a Christian, you have been stamp by God with His precious Holy Spirit for your security and preservation. It is the seal of the Holy Ghost that distinguishes us from the rest of the world as the very children of God and hence heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ (Romans 8:17).

Thus, the presence of the Holy Ghost in you is your proof or stamp of authentication that you truly belong unto the most High God who has become your Father and you His Son or daughter. Glory to God! Hallelujah!

Prayer/Declaration

Heavenly Father, I thank You for the Holy Ghost by whom You have sealed me as Your son or daughter. I declare that by virtue of the seal of the Holy Ghost, I'm preserved in You in Jesus name. Amen!
