THE HOLY SPIRIT YOUR NUMBER ..

THE HOLY SPIRIT YOUR NUMBER ONE HELPER

"Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands." (2 Timothy 1:6 KJV)

Apostle Paul wrote his second epistle to his son Timothy in responds to Timothy's plead for his father Paul to come to him due to some challenges he was facing in his pastoral ministry at Ephesus

This was a time that Apostle Paul too was in house arrest in Rome so he just couldn't come and see his son Timothy so he wrote this epistle to encourage him and to teach him how to deal with the challenges that he was facing as a young pastor in Ephesus.

Thus, Paul in this epistle to Timothy begun by reminding him of the gift of the Holy Spirit in Him and declared that he should just stir up the Holy Ghost in him, who was given to him as God's gift to him, and this will strengthen his faith and give him dominion over the challenges he was facing.

In like manner the Holy Spirit has been given to us, as our number one helper. But most times when we are faced with challenges we just ignore him and begin to seek help from other places.

So irrespective of what you may be going through, engage the Holy Spirit of God within you through prayers, fastings, meditations and constantly yielding to him and by so doing you will draw strength from within you and overcome every challenge you may be facing in Jesus name. Amen!

Prayer/Declaration
Heavenly Father, I thank You for reminding me of the number one helper You have given me, who is the Holy Spirit. I declare that I constantly engage the Holy Spirit through prayers, fastings, and meditations, and by so doing I draw strength from within me and reign in every area of my life in Jesus name. Amen!
