"The Spirit of the LORD will rest on him— the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of might, the Spirit of the knowledge and fear of the LORD." (Isaiah 11:2 KJV)

The first operation of the Holy Ghost as the Seven Spirits of God mentioned in the list of these operations is the Spirit of the Lord or the Spirit of Lordship or the Spirit of Dominion.

The Holy Spirit operating as the Spirit of the Lord, refers to that operation of the Spirit that makes people, things, circumstances and all other spirits to be subject unto the authority or mastery of the Holy Ghost in and through you.

This was actually the most common operation of the Holy Ghost in the Old Testament. We see this operation of the Spirit in how God used Moses to subdue Pharaoh of Egypt, we also see these operations in most of the judges that God raised

But one person in the Old Testament that operated in this dimension of the Spirit in the Old Testament was David, especially when He got to the cave of Adullam. David being the last man there should have been made the errand boy, but the word of God says, these four hundred men gathered around David and declared to Him that he should be their leader.

What caused this kind of willing submission was the Spirit of Lordship or Dominion which David was anointed with. For this operation of the Holy Spirit makes people to submit to your authority, which is actually their submission unto the God in you. Glory to God! Hallelujah!

Prayer/Confession
Heavenly Father, I thank You for the Holy Ghost who operates in me as the Spirit of Lordship or Dominion. I declare that I exercise dominion in every area of my life in Jesus name. Amen!
