WE WILL GIVE ACCOUNTS ...
WE WILL GIVE ACCOUNTS FOR OUR GIFTS
"His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord." (Matthew 25:21 KJV)
One important thing we must know about the gifts and abilities that the Lord gives to us is that, at the end of our work on this earth we will go and give accounts for how we made use of those gifts on this earth. That is, did we put them to work, and did we use them to serve the very purpose for which God gave them to us, and did those gifts glorify God.
This is what the parable of the talents in Matthew 25:14-30 teaches us. God has given everyone of us talents or gifts and He has also appointed for us how we are to use those gifts and what we are to use those gifts for.
And we see in this parable that those who traded or worked with their talents like the one that received the five and the one that received the two talents were rewarded with more whilst the one who received the one talent who did not work with it, had his talent taken from him and sent onto outer darkness.
Thus, just know that for every gift or talent that God has given you, you will account for them and what you do with them now will determine what you will enjoy in eternity. So rise up and put your gifts to work to the Glory of God in Jesus name. Amen!
Prayer/Declaration
Heavenly Father, I thank you for the gifts You've given me. I declare that I labour with these gifts on this earth for Your Glory in Jesus name. Amen!
