Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God." (Hebrews 12:2 KJV)

The word of God says, our Lord Jesus saw the joy that was ahead of Him and this made Him to endure the cross, despising the shame and is now set at the right hand of God. Hallelujah!

We know that Jesus' own cross which He was supposed to bear for the Lord as far as His own earthly destiny was concerned was the cross. But what is your own cross. What are the things that you are to endure for the Lord as far as your own destiny in God is concerned. What are the things He has appointed for you to endure to bring impact into the kingdom of God. Jesus' own cross was the cross, but what is your own cross?

Your own cross encompasses the weight and sin you are to lay aside, and of course the race that you are to run. And these are very unique with every individual.

But most times instead of dealing with our own weight and running our own race, we tend to compare ourselves with others and this takes away our focus. Your destiny is not the same as another person's destiny, neither is your destiny path the same as another person's own destiny path. Your destiny is unique and that is what you are to pursue even as you set your focus on Jesus the author and the finisher of your faith.

So Jesus cross was the cross. What is your own cross? What are the things you are to endure for the Lord that will make you stand out and bring glory? Receive grace for this endurance in Jesus name. Amen!

Prayer/Declaration
Heavenly Father, I thank You for the understanding You have given me to endure my cross, just as my Lord Jesus Christ endured His own Cross. I declare that I'm filled with all grace to endure every cross which is consistent with the destiny that you have appointed for me in Jesus name. Amen!
