YOUR MAN OF GOD IS YOUR PROPHET

"And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper." (2 Chronicles 20:20 KJV)

Our devotional text reveals to us the work that God fulfills through the ministry of our man of God.

According to this scripture, believing God brings about your establishment in the kingdom of God and believing your prophet brings you prosperity.

The prophet used here refers to that man that God has anointed to bring you His word and to consequently lead you along your destiny path.

For instance looking at the old Testament prophets, they were usually called by God to bring the people of God, God's Word, so that by so doing they will lead them according to the will or direction of God for them.

And in the Church, the Lord has appointed the five fold ministry offices to collectively carry out that work (Ephesians 4:11-12). And whiles other men of God may help in this work, God has specially given every child of God a man that He has anointed for this task. And as Jehoshaphat declared unto the people of Judah and Jerusalem, believing God establishes you, but believing the man that God has anointed for you brings you the prosperity that He has appointed for you

And this is because whereas God will guide you by His word and Spirit, no body is perfect in His walk with God by the word and the Spirit, and so He appoints men who have gone ahead of us by the same Spirit and word to lead and guide us. And our belief in their ministry in our lives will cause us to prosper along the destiny path that the Lord has appointed for us in Jesus name. Amen!

Prayer/Declaration
Heavenly Father, I thank You for the gift of my man of God. I declare that I am established by my belief in You and as I believe the ministry of my man of God, I prosper in Jesus name. Amen!
