YOUR PERFECTION BY YOUR MAN OF GOD

"And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12. For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ." (Ephesians 4:11 KJV)

We learnt yesterday that God gave the apostles, prophets, evangelist, pastors and Teachers for the perfecting of the saints.

What does the word of God mean by this perfection? Perfection in this scripture is from the Greek word "katartismos" which means complete furnishing, or dressing up completely. Hallelelujah!

This word carries two ideas. The first is to dress up somebody in terms of beauty. That is beautify a person or a thing. The second is to dress up in preparation for battle. It's more like dressing up a soldier to go on a mission.

So these are two fundamental works that these ministry offices or or man of God does in our lives. He beautifies our life and dresses us up for battle, which is what is referred to in this scripture as the work of the ministry.

Thus, two of the ways you can see the impact of the ministry of your man of God in your life is how God through him is beautifying your life and how he equips or prepares you for the work of the ministry as a soldier for the Lord.

And these two ministries are effectively fulfilled in your life as you believe and wholly receive the ministry of your man of God in Jesus name. Amen!

Prayer/Declaration
Heavenly Father, I thank You for the opportunity to be perfected by my man of God. I declare that through the ministry of my man of God my life is beautified and I'm fully equipped for the work of the ministry in Jesus name. Amen!
